Number of Piece Types
The links below display the number of checker positions sorted by the number of piece types for 1 to 24 pieces on the board. Each entry has the following format:
[nbk][nwk][nbc][nwc]: # of positions
where nbk, nwk nbc, and nwc represent the total number of black kings, white kings, black checkers, and white checkers on the board. For output purposes, nbk, nwk nbc, and nwc are displayed in hexadecimal.
