U-Chat: Synchronous Communication U-Chat is a chat tool that would allow you to communicate real time with your class-mates if they are on-line. You can create virtual rooms and choose avatars than have a synchronous chat with different other users. You will have to enter a login ID and password when prompted in order to be identified by the system and the other users. All students registered for CMPUT690 have an account. Press U-Chat button bellow to enter. U-Chat You can also use asynchronous communication by sending messages on the ualberta.courses.cmput.690 newsgroup on the news.srv.ualberta.ca server or the news.cs.ualberta.ca server. You would have to be on the ualberta.ca domain to have access to this resource. This newsgroups is specifically set for this course.
