A former national champion, he took part in a Marion Tinsley invitational event between 1988-89 held at the International Checker Hall of Fame in Petal, Mississippi. Since then he has played in only two U.S. Nationals without making a major impression. These are the 1993 GAYP and the 1996 Three Move Restriction tourneys.
Walcott is an ex-Deputy Post Master General and remains a top local player in an arena where GAYP still is the dominant style of checkers. include("/usr/brazeau/misc/chinook/web_docs/php/trailer.php"); ?>
