Below is the guide that was used to mark the Referee-Review Rebuttals:
- Excellent (5/5):
- Dispute inaccurate claims/judgements/statements made by referees with concise clear reasoning or supporting evidence as for why the referee is wrong.
- Address and clarify points raised by referees. If the referee "missed the point", you should indicate how you will change the paper so that readers of the paper do not also miss the point.
- Is professional and reasonable.
- Meets a standard (spelling, grammar, organization) appropriate for academic writing.
- Good (4/5):
- Addresses most of the concerns of the reviewers but does not provide supporting evidence OR does not describe how the problem identified by the reviewers were corrected.
- Average (3/5):
- Addresses some the concerns of the reviewers but does not provide supporting evidence AND does not describe how the problem identified by the reviewers were corrected.
- Acceptable (2/5):
- Does not address many of the issues mentioned in the reviews.
- Poor (1/5):
- Little or no content related to the reviews.
