One of the important feedback that we received through the
peer consulting process was the expression of your frustration
with the long delays that occurs sometimes during your
lab work, and about the general "glitches" that we all
experienced in the begin of the semester.
Now that some of the initial problems have been solved,
lab admin would like to receive specific reports of
^^^^^^^^
problems that persist.
As you know the more specific you are in your report, the
easier it will be to diagnose potential bottlenecks or
problems with the software, hardware, machine configuration,
or network.
It is important that you report the problem precisely. For
instance, instead of saying
"It takes too long to load a file"
it is much more helpful to say:
"When loading a simple project file of size 32 KB, it took more than
3 minutes on station 14 when the lab was full of students working
on their projects."
Again, we appreciate your help with this.
Cheers,
Nelson
PS: Remember that if you download your project to the board and
nothing happens, it is more likely to be a problem in your
design than with the machines in the lab ;-).
