I contact Xilinx and they authorized the Computing
Science Department at the University of Alberta to
be a beta site for the X-Pass Program (the program
has not been made official by Xilinx yet, only beta
sites are operating).

This means that 2001 CMPUT 329 students will be able
to receive a Xilinx Certification through the X-Pass
program. In order to qualify you must register in the
program before the mid of the semester. Only students
that

(1) receive a grade 7.0 or higher in CMPUT329, and
(2) have completed the registration before October 15

will receive the certificate.

You can register at:

http://www.xilinx.com/univ/xpass/xpassreg.htm

Make sure that you only register once.

You will need the following information for your
registration:

Professor First: Jose
Professor Last: Amaral
