This benchmark is a cut-down version of Perl, with most of OS-specific features removed and with some additional third-party modules. For more details, see the SPEC CPU2017 documentation.
We discovered that most significant Perl applications available include substantial C code. Given that the benchmark is not designed to handle C code, such applications are not suitable as alternative workloads for the benchmark. Thus we were unable to provide new inputs for this benchmark. Future search for workloads is needed.
