AAAI Computer Poker Competition

From July 16-20, at the Twenty-First National Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Boston, MA, there will be the first AAAI Computer Poker Competition. The game will be heads-up limit Texas Hold-Em. In order to encourage participation, attendance is appreciated but not required, there will be no registration fee, and no prize but victory.

Note: This competition was proposed to AAAI and is supported by the Poker Research Group at the University of Alberta. I have been asked to serve as impartial "arbiter" and to supervise the evaluation process so that U. Alberta has the option of participating in the competition. They deserve our hearty appreciation for creating this opportunity for the community.
