About Me

Hi! I'm Raksha, a PhD student in Computing Science, advised by Dr. Martha White. My area of study is Machine Learning and my primary research focus currently is in Reinforcement Learning. I'm working on two problems in this area:

  1. Designing computationally efficient and stable learning algorithms to guide behaviour in unknown environments (on-policy control).
  2. Utilizing sparse coding frameworks with batch data to extract useful representations for predicting the utility of a policy (value function prediction).
Prior to this, during my Masters' degree, I used to work in the area of Statistical Relational Learning under the supervision of Dr. Sriraam Natarajan.
