I enjoy life with my wife Steph, daughter Rebecca, two dogs (Scrabble and Rummicub), three cats (Mistake, Marshmallow and Magic) and horse (Centuriann). In my spare time, I enjoy good movies, play chess and other mind games, and occasionally go on running binges.

Since I was a little child, I have had a fascination with Polar (Arctic and Antarctic) exploration. Besides reading all the available literature, I also collect first editions of the exporation literature.
