Some financial support is available to offset the costs incurred by graduate students to attend SARA'2002. The exact amount each student will receive will depend on the number of students who attend. Based on our April 18 estimates, each student should receive at least $330 (Canadian$). But this amount is not guaranteed: the final amount will be determined at the SARA meeting itself. The maximum amount that will be reimbursed is $636 (Canadian$), the sum of the registration fee ($300) and the cost of sharing one of the hotel rooms in the SARA block booking for 3 nights ($336).
Students must initially pay all their expenses themselves.
At the SARA meeting the amount to be reimbursed to each student attendee
will be determined. A few weeks after the meeting a cheque (in Canadian $)
will be mailed to each student.
