Welcome to PSAtip, version 1.1, released on April 27, 2006.

1. Required Input

a. Protein sequence file [Add] [View/modify] [delete] absent
b. Secondary structure file [Add] [View/modify] [delete] absent
c. Spin systems file [Add] [View/modify] [delete] absent

2. Optional Input
a. Adjacency information file [Add] [View/modify] [delete] absent

3. Scoring Scheme Options
a. Prediction Method Naive Bayesian* Normal Distribution
The naive Bayesian scoring scheme combines the histogram-based learning method with Bayesian rules to estimate a probability for assigning a spin system to an amino acid residue residing in a specific second structure. The normal distribution score scheme assumes that the chemical shifts contained in the spin system follows the Gaussian distribution and use the normal density function to estimate the probability.
b. Secondary Structure Probability Probabilistic* Non_probabilistic
The non_probabilistic score option makes scoring schemes only use the second structure type information in the PsiPred output. The probabilistic score option makes scoring schemes use the probability information for each predicted secondary structure type in the PSIPRED output.

Sample Instances:
  1. bmr4144: protein sequence, secondary structure, spin systems, and adjacency file [optional]
  2. bmr4288: protein sequence, secondary structure, spin systems, and adjacency file [optional]
