ROBIO 2006 has registered for use of PDF eXpress™.
The IEEE Xplore Requirements for PDF will be enforced.
All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must be in
Xplore-compliant PDF format.
IEEE offers PDF eXpress to IEEE conference authors,
allowing them to generate Xplore-compliant PDFs and/or to
check PDFs for their Xplore compliance.
Steps for using PDF eXpress:

Proofread and check layout of manuscript. (It is highly recommended that you do this BEFORE going to PDF eXpress.)

Create a PDF eXpress account.

Upload source file(s) for Conversion or PDF(s) for Checking.

To use PDF eXpress to create Xplore-compliant PDFs, follow the
extensive online instructions, resources, and helpful hints at the
PDF eXpress site.

Even if you use the PDF eXpress Conversion facility to
generate a PDF, you should still check its Xplore compliance.

Once your PDF is checked to be Xplore PDF compliant, submit it
through the ROBIO 2006 paper submission site.
For your information, PDF eXpress converts the following file types
to PDF:
For documents created in formats that do not embed source files, you must
include
all support files with the final manuscript in a folder. Put this folder
in a compressed archive for submission. If it is possible to embed images
in the source document, you should do so to avoid potential problems, such
as missing graphics.
IMPORTANT:
A DVI (DeVice Independent file) is required for LaTeX conversions,
in addition to all associated image files. Make sure that your LaTeX system
can output a DVI; otherwise your paper cannot be converted.
Also make sure that
your images are properly referenced, and that DVI can handle the image
file types used (DVI does not handle some newer image types, such as *.png).
To create your PDF eXpress account, visit the URL below

And click “New users – click here”. Enter
robio06
for the Conference ID, your email address, and choose a new password. Continue
to enter information as prompted. You will receive an email confirming the
successful creation of your account.
Through your PDF eXpress account, you may submit your source application
files for conversion to PDF, and/or submit PDFs for checking. You will have
the opportunity to revise your submission if you are not satisfied with the
PDF that PDF eXpress creates for you, if you find mistakes in your manuscript,
or if your PDF fails the PDF Check. Technical support via email and telephone
is available if you experience trouble in creating your PDF.
Then, submit your Xplore-compliant PDF on line via the
ROBIO 2006 submission page.
