RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

Researchers in this laboratory are interested in parallel programming systems and various related research problems. These problems include: models for parallel/distributed computing, parallel algorithms, compilers, object-oriented computing, debugging, user-interfaces and usability. The following projects are currently being conducted:

The Enterprise parallel programming system
Parallel game playing systems and algorithms
Object-oriented design systems
The Aurora Distributed Shared Data System
Correct Object-Oriented Pattern-Based Programming System

RESEARCH EQUIPMENT

The Software Systems Research Laboratory is located in room 2-51 on the 2nd floor of the Computing Science Centre (phone 23725). Here is a description of the research equipment we have in our laboratory.
