Piotr Rudnicki

In May 2001 I spent a week in Tübingen chatting with Christoph Schwarzweller (then in Tübingen, now in Gdańsk). He showed me some interesting places of this historical town. Upon return to Edmonton I knew that while in Tübingen I saw something of tremendous social value to be used at parties and such. And yet, it totally escaped me what the thing was.

Two weeks later I recalled what I had forgotten: in Tübingen I visited Alois Alzheimer's house where he lived as a student for a year. What is now known as Alzheimer's disease has been announced to the world also in Tübingen, see here.
