| British Columbia West Coast 2003

Some photos of the west coast of Vancouver Island and the places in between Edmonton and there. The end destination was the town of Ucluelet and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve of Canada, just so that I could get a good look at real west-coast coastline (Vancouver doesn't really count). The journey there took us through:
These photos were taken using a Hewlett-Packard Photosmart 318 set to maximum (2.1 MP) resolution. This camera takes nice photos if you get the right lighting conditions - it tends to fixate on bright areas of the scene and darken other areas accordingly. Additionally, many of the photos were taken from a moving vehicle and so are not as good as as if they had been taken from a stationary standing position (although it does a pretty good job for moving at highway speed).
Now for a note about copyright (that is similar to that on my Crypt Lake pictures. You have my permission to download and use these pictures for personal use. That means you can use them for backdrops, screensavers, etc. I'll even give you the high-resolution images for personal use (but you still have to contact me to get them). However, if you're using these pictures for anything other than private, personal use, you have to clear it with me first. We'll figure something out depending on what you are planning on using the pictures for.
