RSCHS Class of '75 Accomplishments

As part of an effort to encourage alumni to mix and mingle, every one was
asked, as they arrived, to supply a personal accomplishment they achieved
over the past 32 years.
Later these cards were randomly distributed and alumni had to find the owner
of the accomplishment.
Here is the list of submitted accomplishments.

Managed to find a job that paid for a trip to Hanoi.

Still an Edmontonian, too old to play ball, 2 kids and still 1 wife (26 years).

I have impacted over 700 children.s lives in 28 years of teaching
(you may have read about some in the newspaper).

My wife and I have had an amazing offspring!
Our daughter has gone to Chile with the Rotary Youth exchange program for
one year.
She is now 19 and is an amazing young woman.
We are extremely proud.

Managed a recording studio working with KD Lang.

Won my class at the Indy car race last summer.

I took a cab here tonight - that never would have happened
(even if I had the money) during high school.

Practiced debating with monks in Tibet.

I am walking my second marathon in Athens, Greece this year!

Travel - Bangkok and S.A.

That I have made it to 50, raised two great kids, stayed in Edmonton all
my life and stayed married to the same great man for 20 years.

I acted as the general contractor of my own home.

Well, well, well, I guess I can sum it up by saying - I'm fifty,
get 32 flavors.

I ran a half marathon.

I have had 3 children who have turned out to be "wonderful adults".

Lived on 5 continents, speaks 3 languages, volunteer as doctor without borders,
donated a kidney.

Being married to the same girl for 26+ years and raising 2 amazing children.

I have survived living in a small town for 19 years - raised 2 kids
(survived the teenage years), work in a middle school.

I have an article published in a book that is published by the
University of India.

Raised a son who genuinely cares about people, won a Gold Medal at age 50!

Founded a charity!

My hubby and I own a lake cottage.

I lived in the deep south for 3 years, and came back saying "y'all"!

Married in Maui.

Moved to Vancouver right after high school and spend my summers on our boat.

Lived and worked in Germany and South Africa.

I have a five year old daughter.

Ran a marathon.

Canadian National Taekwon-do champion in 2000.

I was a beekeeper for five years.

I'm taking Spanish classes.

I was in Glasgow, Scotland years ago and my car was fire bombed.

I taught my dog to roll over.

I volunteered at my children's school for 16 years.

Learned how to ride a motorcycle.

I am an elected official in Alberta.

Stayed out of rehab.

Nine triathlons entered, nine completed.

Lived in Chicago for eight months and educated a lot of Americans about Canada.

I followed my dream to live on a farm and be surrounded by animals,
I've been blessed with three fabulous kids and have a passion to humor
the dying.

I learned to say the alphabet backwards quickly.

Been shot at (3 times).

Became president of the Canadian Association of Financial Planners and
worked towards the regulation of Financial Planner.

Two Olympic Games.

Worked on a joint venture in Russia in 1994-1995.

Lived in B.C. for seven years.
